TBay Travel Photography – Tips + Tour

Explore TBay through the lense of a camera, with photogenic and tasty stops to connect meaningfully with the local landscape, urban and food

  • Using either a DSLR or even a smartphone camera, learn to take more meaningful and memorable photos
  • Learn to improve your photography whether you are exploring your hometown on a staycation or on a worldwide adventure
  • Explore local natural and cultural history through the eyes of a storyteller and camera

Bring your DSLR or Smartphone camera

Dress for the weather with sturdy footwear for a 3km (max) walk

Arrive 15 minutes before the start of your tour, to greet your guides  – at the ‘Seek HQ,’ which is located on the 2nd floor of the Finnish Labour Temple, at 314 Bay St.

At the Seek HQ, you will spend approximately half an hour, where we will explore photography and storytelling concepts, before walking and exploring the neighbourhoods.

On a storied walk - explore historic buildings, spectacular landscapes, delicious local food + art through the lens of a camera

Note: Parking meters in Bay/Algoma neighbourhood are free on weekdays after 5 pm, and on Saturdays & Sundays.

Is there parking available?

Parking is available at or near each tour’s starting location, sometimes at a cost. After you purchase your ticket, you’ll receive a message with suggestions for both parking and/or options for other transportation.

Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?

Yes, advance ticket purchase is required. To maximize your chances of getting the date, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance.

If a food tour is sold out, can I get on a waiting list?

We do not provide a waiting list. If a date and time is sold out, you can contact us, and we may be able to offer another tour.  Otherwise, we may have alternative suggestions for you to explore other fabulous experiences offered in the Thunder Bay area, including www.sailsuperior.com
